RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and present lesson plans by using a variety of teaching models and techniques in the subject areas.

Observe, monitor and assess students’ on-going progress.

Prepare assignments and tests for in-school assessment and homework on the subject.

Inform parents of student’s progress of academic performance, attendance, and participation; reporting on all elements of student
development at parent-teacher conferences, both regularly scheduled and as-needed.

To plan, organize and facilitate all subject related projects in school, and also prepare students for intra-school and inter-school competitions.

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent Communication skills are mandatory.

Ability to present lessons in an innovative and easy-to-understand manner.

Patience and resourcefulness are also important when explaining complex ideas to students with different academic skills, family and cultural backgrounds, various ethnic backgrounds and different nationalities.

Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in IB-English from well-reputed schools.

Must have undergone a required IB training.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree with a specialization in English through a full-time programme from a reputed institute

Must have gone through IB training.

BEd. is mandatory.
